stuff is too dam expensive. wish i put more thought into it before ordering one of these up. looking now at getting into reloading.
i ordered some from dallasreloads.com this past week

i ordered some from dallasreloads.com this past week I've been pretty happy with Chad's stuff(dallas reloads). I agree price on commercial 300 seems a little steep but his is inline with what everybody else charges. Saving my brass and ordered a set of dies for Christmas, should be able to knock cost in half at least whenever I start building my own. Most loads I've seen are around 17gr of H110 behind a 125gr bullet. That is a lot of loads out of a pound of powder.
Shoot. Eat. Repeat.

It doesn't bother me because when I started, roll your own was pretty much the only way to get ammo for the 300BO.
It's very reloader friendly and shoots pretty much any size bullet well if it will feed and there is simply ton's of load data out there for it.
Some of the large soft tip bullets will hang on the ramps in AR platform and have to be loaded short.
