My dad got this when I was eleven to take me on a dall sheep hunt with. After that he hung onto it and used it as his primary deer rifle, said he estimated about 30 deer, a couple dall sheep, and a few caribou with it. Of course I jumped all over it when he offered to send it along to me, but "it needs to be sighted in". So today I took it to the range and dialed it in. Suffice to say that I'm completely blown away by this rifle. This was a 50 yard range on a benchrest so double all numbers for a 100-yd grouping, but still. Sub-MOA on the last magazine with the last three shots cloverleafed at 0.20" with cheap Federal from a hot barrel. Completely gobsmacked.

Sometimes it be's that way. You really need to shoot at 100 when you get the chance.

Nice shooting.

Kinda what I thought or a 250/257.

Nice shooter. The BLR's have seemed to always have a heavy trigger. Don't remember what they were like back then though.
