1. Just because you outsource work doesn't mean your not as good at doing it. It means your higher up the totem pole.
2. A&E was around long before DD and will be just fine.

2. You forget that they changed their demographic in the past 3-5 yrs drastically. They had been and will be kept a float by the Disney parents, they were starting to earn their keep for a while there.... But unless they get another hit, they might be around but at a cost to the mouse

I hear you, I have never owned any of their products, not that I have anything against them but by the time I even heard of Duck Commander I already had a lanyard full of calls that work just fine. And I have never been one to see the sense in buying clothes with other peoples names or logos on them so they can make money off me. I have seen moments of their tv show and while it is mildly amusing I am not into anything in the "reality" genre.

But I am dang sure thinking about buying a call or a tshirt now.
