That smoky call does look great! Replace the silver band with a carbon/black color, and I could see a call on my lanyard that doesn't have electrical tape on it to eliminate "shine."

This call actually comes with an anodized black band. The band on this one is a tester from a machine shop. You can't imagine how glad I am to hear positive response. I am a project oriented person, but this call company has really taken it out of me. There have been a lot of late late nights and early mornings. Everything has changed since the beginning with the exception of one thing. My determination to deliver a quality product stands over everything else.

The whole reason I became a snake avoidance trainer years ago was because I got ticked off at a trainer. The training was a whopping $30. I didn't feel the training was done correctly and inquired about it. I was scooted off if the training field, like get away I have your money now. So I started doing the training myself.

I try to speak directly to every customer and address their concerns about the training. I try and ask each customer if they feel good about what just transpired on the field. It makes a difference to people.

I will treat my call company the same way. If a customer feels he has not been treated fairly all I ask is he/she give me te chance to make it right, whatever it is.

I am not entirely decided if the name will be for the color or the entire acrylic series. When the site is done and we are officially open for business, you can go to the website and pick the call you like, a more rounded call or the one featured in this thread, wood or acrylic, barrel color, band color and insert color, single reed or double.

I can't wait to get some black acrylic rod material. The black will really make some nice calls.

I really really like this one. I put it up on Facebook and it was gone in 3 minutes.


I sold thiese two and really hated to see them go. The grain pattern in these two is simply outstanding.

I think a green barrel and a black insert with a black or silver band would look great.

Some folks around the office used to call me that because I had the redneck mustache way lower than what regulations allowed here. I was a defensive tackle, nose guard, Linebacker when I played ball. Night-train Lain is what the school called me. I was thinking of maybe wanting to incorporate that but I just don't see it fitting.
