Taking my CHL class saturday, and even though carrying is a few months away I wanted to go ahead and nad a holster. I am going to either be carrying a M&P .40, or an LCP havent really decided which. Anyways, brand wise where is a good starting point for an Inside the Waist band for the M&P?

I have a crossbred and a comptac. Both of them are good quality holsters.

I favor the Simply Rugged Pankake and/or Cuda. Very reasonably priced and they get to your door quickly.

I started with the ComTac and wore it for several years. Last xmas i got a cross breed and have never looked back. I carry a springfield ultra compact on a daily basis. Naturally your body size/type will impact your findings but this is my $.02 worth.

I have a white hat that I use with a springfield XDM 3.8 40 and I absolutely love it! If you have never tried this style of holster please do, you won't regret it!!

All I have ever used is a Cross Breed. Works for me.

I own several from WRB. They are located in Gun Barrel City, and their holsters are comfortable and well made. I just purchased on from them at the Big Town Gun Show on the 8th for $30 for my CZ 2075 40 cal, and it is exactly what I expect from them. It fits well and is comfortable to wear.

I like the Kydex/leather hybrids with a preference toward horse hide. I'll let you pick the vendor. I found it worked best canted full forward. I've been tempted to add another hole to cant it more.
I also have an all leather IWB. It is for a P238 so it is smaller than my hybrid for my XD, but it isn't as comfortable because it is stiffer due to the double layer construction. Its also harder to draw and a royal pita to reholster in comparison to a hybrid.
Don't overlook getting a good belt too. They make a BIG difference in support.

I have used a Blade Tech for about the last 10-15 years. Worn daily for about 10 years. Good holster.
