Give Morgan at Dallas Shooting Supplies a call, he can walk you through the simple process and get you a can.

Bob at the Gun Sight in Dallas has .22 cans in stock. Process is not hard but it extremely back logged now. Wait times are 6-9 months for approval.

No such thing as a "permit" for a suppressor, you pay a $200 tax to the BATFE.

Silencer shop is the only way I get mine any more. They are in austin but can help you out in dallas.

Great prices, and even better customer service.

Great idea in theory but I doubt many new people would take the time to read it before asking how the process works; they major gun specific sites all seem to have a sticky and they get the same questions asked.

Agreed, we should have a new forum for Class III topics.

x4, I have also used other vendors but will now only shop @ Silencershop because of their prices and customer service.

this is very important! your wait is going to be around 12 months already so dont add to it and wait for someone to get it in stock if another vendor has it. back in the day when i order my 1st one i added 8 months for nothing just to save a couple of bucks. live and learn and wasnt worth it. Plus you prolly want to get it in prior to the ATF changes if they pass. also be sure your vendor eforms your app for the stamp.
