I am considering a 10mm. Been reading up and looking at the EAA. The steel version.
I have read about some of the slides cracking. Anyone had any experience with these ?
I have been looking for a local store that had the Rock Island 10mm in stock.
Been reading about them and leaning more since I read about the slide trouble with the EAA.
Any advice ?
Thanks

EAA slides may crack, I've read that.

RIA the only compliant I have read is that the internal casting is a bit off with voids here and there that don't effect function but look nasty.

If it were me I would go with whichever fits your hand better (for me the EAA did) and then invest in Wolff springs to tame the beast and ease the pain on your receiver.

Do yourself a favor and buy a new one so as to avoid the unknown round count on the frame.
