Hated them growing up, but wife has a pretty decent recipe. She sautéed onion garlic and mushrooms in salted butter, the pours this over sprouts. Then sprinkles toasted sesame seed on top and puts the whole thing in the oven at 375 for 45 minutes.
I can eat three to four now!

Yep, sauteed or baked is the way to go. None of that boiled crap.

Try them coated in pesto sauce after steaming them.

They are difficult to grow. I buy the ones I frozen in sauce and zap them in the microwave according to directions.

we use both fresh & frozen, steaming is the path we use with one of the clam shell things you put in the bottom of a medium sized pot with a bit of water in the bottom. 11-12 minutes over gas burner, dust with garlic salt, good to go.

We buy a bag of fresh ones from the store & clean them up a little, put them on a plate & add a little bit of water to steam, butter, garlic powder, salt & pepper. Cover up tight with Saran Wrap & microwave for 8-10 minutes, usually closer to 8 minutes. Good stuff!

Cast iron skillet. Tspoon or 2 of olive oil. Clove or 2 of garlic. Brown garlic, add sprouts that have been cut in half. Med heat. Stir as the sprouts brown, takes 15 min or so. Worth the time!

remove all of the loose leaves from the sprout until it is firm, cut in half. Put all in a plastic ziplock and toss with olive oil (just enough to coat) garlic and chopped rosemary. pour onto a baking sheet and roast at 350 for 30 minutes or until browned. they are good hot or cold.
