Wal,, I can tell you have never had a Trim to go out on you on a Mud motor, and if anyone hasn't then pray it never does, and for those that understand.... Well, you understand.

Muddyfoot, he is a Go Devil guy....no electric trim, just manual.

You are correct Sir. Push the tiller down for nuetral and turn the boat around for full power reverse.

Out of the 5 years I had my Go-Devil I had to replace a belt. That was because I never ever checked the tension. After that I checked it regular and never had a problem.

I have worked on two peoples (on this board alone) gator tails. One problem was the electrical bullcrap GTail puts on their motors. We worked on it until midnight. We finally gave up and he took his people out the next morning in my boat. As I said keep them simple, less problems.

The other one had all the trim linkage all wore out. They were not that old. Again, simle gets her done everytime.
