Well there you go Jeff, you let the cat out of the bag now didn't you, guess everyone is on to me now.
Since you do not want to go back to page one, I am running a Mudbuddy now, was running a Godevil, and have ran a Prodrive for a little bit. Maybe I will get tired of it and run a Gatortail next year or a CopperHead who knows.

If I had to guess Muddyfoot is probably basing his numbers on the amount of motors Briggs sales to each company in a given year which would translate to how many are sold per year. His order is accurate in motors sold. Who are you, cause you know your stuff man!!!

I'm still waiting to hear if one brand and/or style does better in vegetation that the others. I wouldnt let vegetation make your decision for you. The only time vegetation could be an issue might me thick hyacinth beds that will actually lift your boat up out of the water if you get on top of it. A motor that you can trim down deep or full power reverse could be useful. Besides that they will all handle 99% of vegetation.
