I've seen one of mine before I shot it. It was a green neck collar, so it stuck out like a sore thumb. All others have been surprises when the dog returned with the bird. I've always looked for them in big flocks of mallards as we try not to shoot into the big flocks and let them land. I've yet to see one. I did have a buddy shooting some pictures of birds decoying one day after out hunt. A banded drake came in with a susie. None of us saw it until he was looking at the pictures on his camera in the boat right after he took the pictures.

Both my $100 rewards were shinny. The only green you could see on them were in the indentations on the band where they stamped it then colored over it. All the flat surfaces the color was worn off.

Shipping it off to Avian Arts. He did a heck of a good job on a goose for me two years ago and I know he will make this one awesome as well.

Thanks Mike. You guys get a chance you need to set up a hunt with Mike at Muddy Water Outfitters. They are a great bunch of guys and will put you on the birds. I have hunted with them 8 or 10 times and hadnt been on a bad one yet.
