December 19th - 21st 2008 5th Annual Challenged Outdoorsmen Deer Hunt at Lake of the Pines

We will be hunting with 30 challenged individuals during this hunt. Each hunter will be accompanied by a guide for a total of 60 people. All meals and drinks will be provided by COA.

The hunt was a great success . Three deer were harvested
One by a youth. A little background, Frank has rapidly progressing muscular dystrophy and just 3 years ago was able to walk; now he has to have help to raise his hands to the trigger. Even at that, he’s got a better attitude than most folks I know without any problems.James and Charles were able to harvest the other two A good time was had by all, the food was great. The time visting around the camp fire was the best.
