Anyone use them?? I bought 6 the other day to give them a try, but never used them in the past. These expand on impact. Never used a mechanical broad-head that did not use rubber rings.

I have used them. They work well and fly like fired points but they use a lot of KE. I had pass throughs on both deer I killed with them but in both cases the arrow was lying on the ground. I hunt from 16 ft tripods so on close shots my arrows are usually stuck in the ground. One of the two was a30 yd shot so at that angle I would not expect it to stick. I guess the point I'm trying to make is that you need a fairly high energy set up. If you do you should get good results.

I shot a big whitetail with the 2 blade blood runners and hit a little high but he only ran about 40 yards and the broad head was stuck in his opposite shoulder with a 55 lb bear charge bow he is still the biggest bodied white tail I have seen up close

My buddy claims he shot an armadillo with a 2 blade blood runner out of an Invasion at 30" 70lbs and didn't get full penetration.

I shot the 3 blade ones on a hog and whitetail, neither one got a pass through. I am shooting a Mathews Z7 70 lbs and 29". Like said before I think they use a lot of KE when the slide back to open.

Switched to Grim Reapers and they have blown straight through 2 deer I have shot with them, like the 3 blade Muzzys I used to shoot.

I'm just relaying what he told me. It doesn't seem likely to me either but I have no reason not to believe him. It is enough for me not to the try them.

I've no reason to doubt him and I haven't shot any armadillos but did get pass throughs on the deer. His set up has to have higher ke than mine. Damn, now I have to go armadillo hunting...nah!

Hey its real hard to get a pass thru on an armadillo, isn't it? I shot one and stuck the inside of the where it would have come thru, with a very sharp, somewhat small fixed broadhead.

Well i gave them a try this past week. Took a doe at 48 yards. Did a hell of a job on her. She went 15 yards and fell over dead.
