Not sure what type of response you're looking for, but as an amateur videographer and photog, I'm going to shoot you straight... You have a lot more to learn about filming/editing. A point-and-shoot/gopro and some cheapo editing software on your ipad is not going to turn you into the next duck commander. I hope you're studying hard and have a career in mind other than this. Oh, and Bone Collector said to tell you that you owe them $25k for using their song without permission.

So I guess everyone who uses any song that has been produced should be awaiting a lawsuit for using an artists song In a Video...Nice video and looking forward to seeing some more footage! Maybe instead of bashing their video since your a amateur videographer give them some helpful advice and guide them in a path to help them out in the future.

Apologies, my initial comment did sound a little harsher than I intended. Didn't mean to discourage, but just wanted to be honest. My first bit of advice is ditch the music. On top of being a copyright infringement (I doubt you're going to get sued over it) amongst artists, its a low blow to steal. If you made something and someone used it without permission, you'd be miffed too. We've all been guilty of it. Aside from that don't let the music be the central feature of your film (obviously during opening credits it belongs). Second is invest in some quality gear. A good DSLR rig can be setup to film quite nicely if you put the right glass on it. Duck hunting is especially difficult to film because the best times to hunt are often the worst light, which, other than the subject is the most important part of film. Third is be selective with the go-pro footage. It never looks as good as you intended, even after post edit. I would be happy to post some of the stuff I'm currently working on when I get home, but just to show you I've been guilty of all the aforementioned, below is a quick promo I did for a decoy company. I wish someone would have given me all the same advice, but what the customer wants, the customer gets too. If you're just making these to have fun and document hunts with buddies, thats one thing, but seeing as you have created a logo and rolled credits, I assume you have higher aspirations to make a full length film as this is an "Intro". Again, sorry for sounding harsh, but just want you to know what actual film enthusiasts think of your video, not just joeblow hunterdude. http://youtu.be/AecbtTYg200

Thanks green. Appreciate the info. I did the video and editing. Really more as something fun to do for now and for others to enjoy, but I do want them to be quality videos. Photos taken with DSLR

This "joe blow hunter dude" actually worked in the film industry for close to eight years. I've worked on everything from low budget indie films to A-list features and everything in between. I'll agree that the kid has some work to do, but everyone has to start somewhere and it seems like he's on the right track. Copyright infringement aside, it was a pretty good intro vid for a newb. To the op. Don't give up on your dreams bud. There are tons of jobs in the film industry. In front of the camera and behind. You may not become a millionaire, but lots if people do in that industry. As long as you enjoy it keep on keeping on.
