Had my favorite taxidermist do all my rams this year and built a cedar tree and base with sand in my garage, still adding some stuff and maybe an euro and rattle snake to the base later but I think it came out neat for my first time and yes the door still opens, its to the attic up stairs.

Javelina with a rattlesnake in its mouth would look cool on the base.

Now that you've completed your Texas Slam, are you gonna start on your Grand Slam? And with a bow?

Awesome, creative idea!! up I think I would leave it alone or possibly add only some dry range grass at the base. Too nice a presentation to "busy" it up!!

Use a rattlesnake or whatever and make a end table or coffee table as an "accent piece". Just a humble Opinion.

Mounts turned out great and speak for themselves.

Thanks yall and I have a 4horn and a Catalina, Monster red sheep too. Next is Merino, Armenian Mouflon and Aoudad. All 3 should make top 5 all time easy if I have my way. Jus thard to find the time right now to get to hunt for me instead of taking others. Im a big bow hunter and looking forward to breaking more record this year before its time to turn it over to the boy and let him have his go at this, he will be 6 in June and is chomping at the bit to get something wiht his crossbow.

Very nice! And a lofty goal to work towards too!
