Where did y'all buy your bows?

What big box store has the best selection for leftys? or should I look online?

Would appreciate a recommendation on brands to looks for/avoid for. Budget is 600ish. New to bowhunting

Thanks in advance

I bought my first bow from Alvarado Archery. I think you should buy your first bow from a pro shop. They can help with any questions you may have, measure you for draw length, adjust your draw weight, recomend arrows and help you in picking the right accessories. The used market is flooded with good bows right now. Mathews Z7's, Elite Answers and Hunters. Check out the archery talk classifieds. I bought me second bow (2013 Elite Answer) off there and took it to get setup at Alvarado. Being a lefty is tough, as far as test drives go they are few and far between due to the fact that most people are right handed and a lot of bow shops don't have south paw bows on hand for testing.

Cinnamon Creek Ranch, has some left bows, but any proshop will order one for you.

Go to Allstar archery in lewisville. It's on mill, short drive from plano area. I bought my first bow there about ten yrs ago, and my new one there 2 yrs ago. They have always treated me right, and did everything they could to help me. Decked it ou for me, tuned it, helped me shoot a few bows to select the right one. Good people.
