this is a 1:30 minute video of the longest shot i have made..250 yard shot..downing a doe..with a 7mm 150gr. core lokt..no broadside shot..so as she was eating corn off the ground i shot her between the shoulders..killed her instantly with a shattered spine..no wasted meat..16 2lb pkgs of chili meat and backstraps..pix of chili tomorrow..does not show actual kill shot..girlfriend was videoing with her iphone..first kill she has ever seen..and she is from Alaska..lol

Not a bad deal for my first hunt ever!! Had a blast and I have to admit that I'm hooked!! I'm ready to go again! Too bad work gets in the way.

funny thing is i didnt feel anything..i had passed on lots and lots of doe's.... I never like to shoot a doe until after the rut.reasoning..you never know if she is the one that will come into estrus and bring big boy in..also the buck to doe ratio is wayy out of whack..The jump thing wasnt a jump or recoil..it was me chambering another round and grabbing my binos...also i found a place in ballinger that has a two day turnaround on processing..we took her in at 9pm sunday night and picked her up on the way home tuesday at 2..
