Try separating the upper and lower remove the lower hand guard and re-install both hand guards.

Bigger problem!

Six pins hold the hand guard pieces together, two are broken, one is cracked, two are fine. Insane!

Pics coming, suggestions welcomed

How it's supposed to look^^^

Two of the broken pieces.

Does anyone know where to buy another handgaurd? Or if not, would it be worth it to buy a new upper, with more metal to it, not plastic.

Holy [censored], how bad did you drop that thing? Talk about not combat ready. I'd call sig and let them know about it and they would probably send out a new forearm or get one of the Troy battle rails for the 556 but they are pretty expensive.

While it is an evil black rifle, shoots the same caliber, and uses the same mag, a 556 is not an AR.

Sig would be the obvious choice. Most people don't like the fish gill hand guards. May be able to find some take offs on a sig forum, arfcom, Craig's, ebay, etc.

Not much aftermarket support, but Sampson and troy make rails for them. There is also the Swiss sig550 style hand guards.

That's the crazy thing, it was not a hard drop, I was walking along a dirt Road and it slipped!

I will not be wanting the same guard, any ideas on where to buy a nicer one? And I am only able to pop the bottom part off, how would I get the top off?
