I hunted all morning Saturday looking to fill the freezer on Doe Weekend in Red River County, but NOTHING came by the blind. I decided to head back to the truck and grab a bite and come back that evening. Walking back to the truck, I heard something crunching acorns. I got as sneeky as a fat man can get and got within thirty yards of five of them. This one was the biggest. I had the 300BLK zeroed at 100 yards (the distance from the blind to the feeder) and didn't take the offset into account for the first shot. I double lunged her, but it was low. The second one in the neck ended it. I know it's no trophy, but she'll taste very nice!!
This is a Spikes lower, an AAC 9" 300BLK upper, and a Thompson Machine 30 suppressor. It will shoot just over an inch at 100 yards with supersonic ammo. She was taken with Hornady 125 ballistic tip.

Thanks!!
Matt

With supersonic rounds, it's about like a 22mag. Loud, but you don't need hearing protection. With subsonic rounds, it's more like a staple gun. I...I mean my buddy test fired subs in my back yard, and you can hear it over the fence, but it's not alarming at all.
