 ADRENALINE DUMP!

About three weeks ago my boy and girl went to the ranch with me. We were all in the stand together and my boy who is 10 years old missed a nice 8 point. This was his first miss but we spent a few hours making sure we could find no sign of a wounded deer. This past Sunday we went back to the ranch and got in the stand about 4pm. I rattled a few times but nothing was coming in. About 25 minutes before dark this guy came in on us. We never saw where he came from but suddenly was standing there 80 yards away. My boy got my 270 up and was on the scope quick. He said I'm ready and dropped the deer where it stood. I quickly took the gun just in case the buck jumped up to run off and was looking down the scope but everything was shaking. I looked back at my boy and he had a huge smile on his face but could not stop shaking. He shot his first buck at 7 but didn't have the adrenaline dump like this one. He's only ten and both his bucks are better then any I've ever shot. Wouldn't have it any other way.

Thanks for noticing the brow tines. I was really happy to see them because most of the deer on our ranch only have 2-3 inch brows. Woulda like to let him get to more does but the smile on my boys face was worth it.
