There have been large numbers landing in one of my wheat fields?

No, shotgun, archery or falconry only. A sandhill crane is a migratory game bird. Rifle is not a legal means.

I've put a falcon on ducks,but never crane. I wonder how they handle one. I shot one this morning and when I went to get him he was still very alive. That s.o.b jumped up and came at me......not gonna lie it scared me.

Don't know about rifle but you can use lead instead of steal, so extra full choke plus buckshot equals 100 yard shotgun

This sounds like something Pegasaurus would ask. Hey now.... I know better than to ask that.  But what about .22 shot shells from a bolt action???
