 My biggest deer with a rifle

 [/img] I shot him from about 200 yards with my .257 weatherby. I couldn't decide.on whether or not to shoot him at first because I had heard there were bigger deer at the ranch I hunted, about 160 170 class deer but only a few killed a year. I shot him when it was hot a couple of weekends ago so the deer weren't moving. When I first saw him I didn't have time to decide before he walked off behind some brush. I never saw him leave the section of brush that he was in so I didn't think he left. After about an hour he came back out and walked into another section of brush before I could get on him. At this point I decided to shoot him if I saw him again. After another hour he came out again chasing a doe. I shot him and he ran about 20 yards and crashed. He ended up being the biggest deer on the trip. He is definetely my biggest deer with a gun. My biggest with a bow was 137 we are guessing this deer is 130-35 but we didn't score him.

Nice deer I don't think he will break 130 tho.

My 137 is an 8 and is really similar in all areas except for mass. And is a little less wide, and he has actually been measured.

I didn't see 130 either until I got to him. He is bigger than he looks.

We also.have a euro of my dads 126 8 and this deer is definitely bigger than him. Pictures don't quite do him justice
