Went out this morning with the guy that bought Ruger's sister, Scout. Scout has been working overtime this season and has become a great hunter. We had 2 ducks on the water before shooting time so we were ready when the clock went off. Had a couple good volleys and then the birds left town like a deadbeat dad. Wrapped up about 8:30 with 7 birds total. 3 of which are destined for the taxidermist. Ruger bringing back a duck  Bringin it to momma  Focused on the water  My morning view  The morning haul  The wife with Ruger and James with Scout  Kimber was not a happy girl about having to stay home so I let her do a couple retrieves in the side yard.  And to top the day off, I didn't get my finger out of the way in time while cleaning one of the birds so I got to go visit the urgent care place to get some sewing work done.  Had a heck of a good time!

Gorgeous redhead! Looks like a good hunt. I'm assuming the 3 to the taxi are the red, wigeon, and ????

Damn Jason......what happened. Ducks revenge? The layouts have rafia grass on them and lots of local stuff that has accumulated on them over the last two seasons.
