Oh I don't doubt it, in fact I'm purty dang sure that's what they're doing.

But in all actuality, that moon was pretty bright. It was bright enough that I could see where I was going w/o my headlamp. I've noticed when its bright like that, the deer don't tend to move as much during the day.
I almost always see deer during a new moon.

Anyone know of a lubricant/oil that does not have a scent? I need to lube this chair as its kinda creaky when I shift my weight.

I think the deer will care less about the smell of the lube than they will the creak.

Good luck out there. If I can wrap up a couple of things at the office this morning, I'm hoping to sneak up to Wise County for an afternoon sit.

I hope your afternoon goes better than my morning. I've gotta head back home today but will be returning Friday and staying through Sunday if I or the wife doesn't shoot anything earlier. Hopefully the new moon this weekend will help.

Cool thanks!
I went ahead and used some gun oil since that's what I had on hand. It don't smell much. But I'll check out that stuff you mentioned if I go back this weekend and the creak is still there.
