 Got me a Woodie this morning

 I know the title is a little misleading. Anyway, I haven't gotten to duck hunt much last few years. I sold my piece of junk duck boat and my private place went south with the drought. Only got to go a few times to a buddies and hunt one of his tanks. I decided to scout a river not far from me. First stop, completely dry. 2nd spot, very low but had some water. I was about to give up and then I saw them. Wood ducks! This a a bird that I have been trying for years to get for the wall and something always went wrong. I went this morning. Saw very few birds and only shot 2 but they were the reason I went this morning. If I got a wood duck drake, then the trip was a success. Mission accomplished. In the freezer waiting to be sent to the taxidermist.  My son/daughter wanted a picture with the birds. My daughter really wants me to mount the pair.
