This is interesting.... The owner of QS designed the outlaw. And if you're throwing em in the garbage seems like there are plenty of folks that would take them off your hands. Most calls on the market can be compared in some way as to looking alike, but when you get down to it the way they blow is slightly more important. So when someone asks what call to buy, we are goin off looks nowadays? Don't think so. As to what call to buy, there are lots of great options it just depends upon price range for the most part. Quack Shack, echo, toxic... There are several options, good luck to you in finding one! Call em and kill em!

I've heard people make a $25 call sound like a $150 RNT Daisy Cutter and more so the opposite .. someone picks up a $100+ call and thinks it will automatically make you sound legit.

Agreed East Tx.,,,, with your question "are we going off looks". I'm going to say this and stand by it.....,, " There is no poly carb or plastic call that will Sound as good, Or Stand the test of time like a Good Wooden or Good Acrylic call".

Take the best caller you know and let him run all the calls, and even tho he will make them all sound like they cost good money, the one that will stand out is the Top End call. I've had poly carb calls that I claimed to love but they didn't last me long due to cracks or just plain breaking down, and Yes they can break down, just like goose call guts break-in.

So guess what I'm trying to say is these questions of "what's call to buy" has no ground from person to person, some like cheap wine and some like good scotch!
