 What do you all use to protect your firearms while hunting in the rain?

I was just wondering now that the last few days have been rainy, wet, weather. What do you all use on your firearms to protect them from the weather. I personally either use gun oil or spray the barrel with rem oil both before and after a hunt to keep them protected... I also wipe down both the wood and metal of my rifle with a silicone gun rag after a hunt to help aid protecting my firearm. Was just wondering what other products have you all used to protect your guns....Thanks for reading and I appreciate your input.

keep the muzzle down when outside and
re-apply eezox at the end of day.
2 or 3 dry patches down bore.
wooden stocks are waxed with johnson's
paste wax as a part of regular maintenance.

Keep the barrel and action clean.. Other than that it's all about looks

Alaska guides and outfitters I've known seem to like Eesox or Corrosion X. I personally use EEsox.
I'm not sure that anything offers total protection. I try to wipe all metal surfaces each evening when I can. And I always tear down my rifles completely after the hunt and give them a good going-over.
This is partly why stainless steel and synthetics are so popular nowadays.

WD-40 will displace water as good as anything.
I didn't say lube and protect mind you.
Uprisings started or quelled, tornadoes rerouted, elections rigged.

if its a wood stock, take the barrel/action off and seal raw wood, this will stop any moisture penetration to the wood.

Yeah, for many years I used paste wax on my guns when going to Alaska. It was OK. I believe Eesox is better, based on my last few trips.

Or the safe, cabin if you are already there, truck if you nearly get to the stand and it starts raining. I'm pushing 60 though. I wasn't like this in my twenties.
