Just curious how old you guys think he is and if fat boy in the pic make AR's? Almost pulled the trigger Saturday but antlers seem to be right at the end of his ears. He is a lot heavier deer I've seen in Archer county. Been joking that he is part Hereford or something. Most bucks we see are pretty skinny with 12" 8 points. We've even coined a term because there seem to be so many of them -Archer County 8's. Seen anything this morning? "2 does and an Archer county 8. That's about it." See more bucks since AR's, still not many that jump out at you as being legal.

Too bad he doesn't make ARs, because he is definitely mature!

I agree that he makes AR, not by a lot but by enough.

Looks to be over 13" IMO, but it's your call. Good luck!

Call game warden Keys and ask to send him pics and get his opinion. Explain to him your delimma. He is a straightforward guy. Gotta love archer 8's. By the looks of your landscape you se in southern Archer County.

I think he'll make it pretty easily. But a facing view would tell the story.
I learned long ago you can't reason someone out of something they don't reason themselves into.

Part of me thinks the reason his rack looks narrow is his body is so big.
We're a little ways south of A.C.
