What are yall's opinions and tactics on how to spotlight while varmint hunting? Do you shine the light quite a bit? Shine them directly or what? Been wanting to go shoot some coyotes out at my place during the night time just need to get the right kind of spotlight and just needing some basic help!

Lots of good info on here about it. In a short answer, find a good LED light if you are going to be away from the truck. Wicked Lights, Elusive Wildlife are a few. Keep the light shining at all times. Once you find an animal keep the light on them. The light is your Camo! If the light is in their eyes, they can't see you.

Good Cree LED, keep light on and moving(panning) until eye shine is spotted, keep critter in "Halo" of light until you want it to stop. To stop them, "Burn" them with the light, they don't always stop. Then kill them, repeat as necessary. Chupa
