What Quigley was shooting.

Winchester 97, 12 gauge
Ithaca 37, 20 gauge
matched set, Colt SAAs, 45 Colt
SW mod 29, 44 mag
Colt Python, 357 mag
1874 SHARPS BUFFALO - "QUIGLEY®", 45-70 (I know it isn't the exact cartridge he used, but I don't care to hand load 45-110 or whatever they made up for the movie).
Winchester Mod 63, 22LR
Colt Mustang Pocketlite XSE, 380
Browning Auto 5, sweet 16, 16 gauge
Browning Safari BAR, 25-06
Browning BA-22, 22LR

Dream guns

Holland and Holland, double, elephant cartridge
Nice bolt action, iron sights, 375 HH mag
Historic Colt pistols, 1st Gen SAA, Dragoon, Walkers, 51 Navy, 60 Army, WWI and WWII era 1911s.
Every major rifle carried by the US Military infantry in battle starting from the Revolutionary war.
Fox side by side shotgun, 20 gauge

Mine is simple and affordable, so I guess I'm lucky.

CZ 527 Carbine in 7.62x39 topped with an IOR Valdada fixed 4X.

I already have the firearms I want. But if I were to add one more, it would also be the Sharp's Quigley rifle in 45-110. I would love to play with one of those with the iron sights and shooting long range with them (500 to 1K yards).

I think I'd seek out rifles of unusual caliber, like .348 Winchester, .405 Winchester, and I even have a a soft spot for the old .300 Ouch & Ouch. There are others, too. I dunno though...I find it impossible to dream of only one gun.
