Learn your lesson at my expense! I put cheap battiers that I got at the dollar store in my foxpro this past friday. Tried to turn it on last night and it wouldnt come on. Opened it up to check it out and one of the dang battiers busted and ruined my call! Lessoned learned: dont buy cheap batteries!!!!!

No it leaked all down on the green computer board thing. I bought new batteries and tried to turn it on and it started smoking!

I have learned to always unplug the batteries that way it does not accidentally get turned on and run your batts out, I also always use energizer or duracell on my outdoor gear. Good luck w/getting your fox pro fixed.

I have bought and deployed thousands of AA batteries from my previous life in pagers. My observation was that Energizers were lease likely to leak. I still buy them and they have never leaked.
