I have the Kill Light by Elusive Wildlife and it doesn't put out enough light the be seen from 18 yards. I have it mounted under the feeder, about 6 feet from the ground and I'm siting 18 yards away and 16feet high. I can't see raccoons moving under it with the naked eye, and even with my scope at that distance is a strain. What other feeder lights have y'all had good luck with?

Are you color blind? Do you have it connected to the feeder battery? It should be putting out plenty of light. We have one, and we can sit 100 yards away in a 10ft tower blind and see about a 8ft circle directly under the feeder.
The early bird might get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.

If you're looking for a DIY light, then target1911 has some really good ideas. If you're looking for a professional commercial light that would allow even Helen Keller to see the animals, then send me a PM.

I've done a DIY light with built in solar panel and it works great, this light will be in a place where no sunlight reaches so it will need a battery. Are you color blind? Do you have it connected to the feeder battery? It should be putting out plenty of light. We have one, and we can sit 100 yards away in a 10ft tower blind and see about a 8ft circle directly under the feeder. Actually I have excellent vision. It's the 24 LED that runs off 12 volt and is very pathetic at best. I have tried it higher off the ground but it didn not help. I can see it from 100 yards, but still have to use my 250XLR light to see if anything is under the feeder.

You say no sunlight gets to it.....could you raise or position a solar panel within 10-20ft and run longer wires? i think the 60LED light has a 10ft cord from the panel to the light. Do you not run a panel for your feeder battery?
You can always rig up a DIY portable light that yo only use when you are there rather than one that stays there and on every night. DFWroadkill has a very simple setup and that light he uses will light it up like daytime. yo wont have any problem seeing hogs from 200yds away.

I'm hunting under 30-60 foot pine trees with a lot of scrub brush. I have no way to get high enough for direct sunlight. I replace the feeder battery every 2 weeks and will do like wise for the light.

Ok cool. Get you light that has a dusk/dawn switch or motion to save the battery time. You can use a 12v feeder battery or small car battery. You could also use 12v led light strips for the lights.
