I use some thin under armor gloves that I wear inside of regular thick camo hunting gloves. I find it helps to hold on to the heat packets you can buy. They are pretty cheap.

I bought the Arctic brand this year at BassPro, they are warm, if it's not below 45 don't wear them. They are hot, well made so hopefully they last

quality leather gloves with a vellux lining. Its the warmest lining you can get. Don't be tempted by a cheap price, they don't last long..

I rock light weight wind blocker gloves from columbia.
I also use the woolitmate hand muff from cabelas (just flat awesome). Best hand muff out there IMO

after trying to solve that problem for years, now i just wear brown or cammo jersey gloves when it's cool, some black thin fleece thinsulate gloves when cold, and the jersey gloves with a hand muff when it's really cold. i've tried the neoprene too. too clammy after about 45 minutes.

Only suggestion I have is to make sure you don't get gloves that are tight on your wrists. You need the blood flow to help keep your hands from freezing.

Recently picked up a pair of camo, Remington-branded gloves. 40gr Thinsulate and rubbery patches on the part of the palm, thumb and index finger. Paid like $8. They were more than sufficient on the coldest day I've worn them so far which was high 30s. This weekend it may dip into the 20s so I'll see how they hold up with lower temps.

I second Arctic Shield. All of their cold weather gear is top notch. But it needs to be COLD before you put it on.
Had my jacket, bibs, and gloves on the past 2 days hunting in about 30 degree temps. Stayed plenty warm the entire time and had on nothing but jeans and a shirt underneath.

North Face snow skiing gloves work very well in extreme cold. Not too bulky, and very warm.

Just make sure you can pull the trigger in them. Duck hunting and some drop in on your and you can't feel the trigger.... That sucks! Been there.

I've worn Under Amour cold gear gloves the past 2 seasons and really like them. Thin but very warm. I strictly bow hunt and i have no problems using my release or opening zippers etc. while wearing those gloves.

My oldest daughter's first husband bought me the greatest gloves ever, but now (since she kicked him to the curb some years ago) they are about worn out. Dang! And I can't find an identical replacement. If you find the gloves you love, buy two pair.

If you really want warmth you will wear mittens with open slit for index finger.

Been in the Army 18 years and hunting almost all of that, and I have yet to find truly warm gloves that also enable you to have enough dexterity to actually be functional.
For me, I find the best balance/compromise of dexterity, thickness, looseness, and wind protection. Many gloves can suck the heat right out of your hands.
I basically use gloves to keep the chill off from wind and protection from touching cold things like rifles or deer stands, etc. Hand warmers and pockets are what I use to keep my hands truly warm.
My gloves are a cheap pair of camo Remington gloves with some type of leather palm and fingers.

Like the video dieselgeek posted the other day, my hands and feet are the only thing to really get cold. I need to invest in some good insulated boots.
I have some (I think Redhead) gloves that do okay. Throw a hand warmer in them and/or stick my hands in my pockets and I do just fine. If I need to use my hands constantly (upland hunting, or whatever) and cannot stick them in my pockets, things get chilly.

I gave up on bulky gloves and opted for one of those tubes like the NFL players use in cold weather. Of course I have one in camo rather than a solid color, but it works great and allows me to use gloves that work much better when it comes time to pull the trigger.

Quite a few suggested this ^^^ above. Sounds like a pretty good idea for cold weather.

Quite a few suggested this ^^^ above. Sounds like a pretty good idea for cold weather. Although I've never seen it cold enough to require it, I've thought I could put one of those butane powered hand warmers inside the tube and keep my hands very toasty. And because the tube rests snugly in your lap, it seems to add a little more warmth to your arms and body.

I have used one of those tubes for years with just thin Under Armour liner gloves. They work just fine for me in temps above 35. When I went duck hunting two weeks ago it got to 14 degrees and I added a couple of the cheap throw away hand warmers to put inside the tube. My hands were toasty!

Lost the chance at a Huge deer one time because of thick gloves. Never again.
For safety reasons make sure you can operate the trigger with the gloves without firing

I ruined one on a hot muffler the other day. Had them for 5 years and liked them well. Need to find another set I guess.
