Gotta spend a few days in Austin and need to site in a rifle. I'm not from there so can somebody tell me of a good 100 yardrifle range please. Thank you

I once drank muddy water out of a hoof print and was dang glad to get it.

You can try Reds in Pflugerville. It is an indoor range that goes out to 100.

Best of the west for me, it's just west of austin. Great range, nice employees, and you can shoot up to 1000. I will play "Switzerland" when it comes to reds wink.

Eagle Peak or Best of the West. Reds is too expensive, dark , and very poor ventilation.

depends on where you are going to be. there is a reds both north and south if it is just to sight in no worries. if you are looking for some real range time. best of the west, eagle peak, astro all acceptable.

i am cancelling my subscription, i am tired of your issues!

There's also Lone Star in Lockhart. Never been there but have heard good things. Has the benefit of awesome barbeque nearby.

do NOT go to Reds on a weekend!

If you just need a quick sight in at 100 then Red's is good if it is conveniently close to you.

Eagle peak has 50, 100, 200 and 300 yards but I HATE going there because of the nazi RO and a cease fire every 15 minutes.

If you want to sight in say at all ranges from 50 moving out it is an ordeal to change lanes.

Best of the West is hand's down the best place to actually enjoy it..

I've only been to Reds but want to head to Best of the West this weekend. What kind of targets are they? paper or metal plates that ring when hit?

steel at 250 as well

there is also 2 range fees for the rifle range, short and long distance
