Finally got some time to hunt hogs yesterday. I hit this sow with a 70 grain barnes tsx. Put her down on the spot, tore through leaving a nice sized exit hole. I gotta say, Im very happy with these bullets. My rifle shoots em really tight and they performed beautifully on this hog.

If your shooting .223 or 5.56 the barnes are the best I have used.

The exit wounds are impressive, saved me from building a 300 blk.

The entrance wounds usually bleed also laugh

The fmj only good for head shots/neck shots for a DRT.

Congrats on the kill. Good looking gun.

It's the time spent in God's creation with family and friends making memories that counts.

Thanks bud!

Hard_ware, I been trying to decide on the 300 blk myself, but after seeing what the barnes can do I think I may just stay with the 223.
