Does anyone have a rut update for Jones County?

Bachelor groups have been broke up for 3 weeks now in fisher county. Saw a young buck dogging a doe on youth weekend. Still a fews weeks out I think.

I was beginning to worry it was just me. We haven't seen any signs of chasing or any decent bucks to tell if their necks are swollen. I'm hoping for some action the week of Thanksgiving.

I hunt about two miles past the Jones Co. line in Fisher. The 9 pt. that I shot Monday evening had a swollen neck, but I haven't seen any chasing yet.

I hunt in Hodges and don't think it has quite kicked off. Bucks and does were sharing the feeder last weekend. I killed a mature 8 point opening weekend that was grouped with another mature buck.
