Get some liner socks. Put those on first, then the wool. They wick away sweat and keep your feet dry

Go buy several pairs of thin nylon dress socks, layer them 1 at a time until your boot just gets snug. Remove socks and figure out the total thickness, go shopping at a ski shop for these: Drymax SocksNo more cold wet feet. Just make sure to get the correct thickness so the blood will flow and help keep your feet warm and dry!

Your feet sweat, and the sweat will chill your feet. You want to wick moisture away

I take it you were able to get out? I rock a light weight UA sock under and Heavy weight UA sock. wearing that and 800 grams in the breathable waders I felt like a million bucks.

I am sticking with wet socks, the boots don't allow it to perspire/evaporate, it just collects in the wool and then combined with a snug boot, cold toes.

I learned a trick years ago. It is a little tough to get your mind right and not be embarrassed but just try it one time. get you a feminine panty liner and use it like a shoe insert. You will not be sorry because your feet will be warm and dry all morning long.

You gotta be able to wiggle your toes or you will freeze. buy bigger/warmer waders. The warmest socks and liners in the world won't keep your feet warm in uninsulated waders. And even the warmest insulated waders won't keep your feet warm if you can't move your feet around.

How old are you? Any blood pressure problems? Could be a blood circulation problem.

Buy waders with more insulation in the boot. That's the only way to really solve it. The socks have to be right too. I've got a pair with 1200 gram thinsulate in them, and I don't think it is physically possible to get cold in them.

I do the nylon dress socks under heavy wool but still get the foot chill after I hunker down and keep still. Like others have said, a nicer pair of waders could be the solution. But after my long hikes, I welcome the bit of chill. After a couple sips of coffee and LST, I forget all about it.

I don't remember what thinsulate mine are. Gotta check the tag I guess. I know it won't be perfect and I'm slowly adding things to make it better while waiting for the sun. It's a work in progress. I will keep playing with different socks and also look into the boot warmer/dryer. Got my body and legs down. Anyone here wear glasses!? I have a mask and it fogs my glasses like crazy. I also hate fighting the mask to keep from turning.

I wear ankle socks! if they're cold enough you shouldn't be able to feel that there's a problem!
Arise.Kill.Eat -Acts 10:13 I have read a bunch of stuff on the internet about Star Wars but that does not mean I can skin a deer with a light saber.

How long is the chord to the battery pack Not sure exactly. Designed specifically for waders, I'd assume they're long enough?
