Seen two young eights and one mature eight. Seen no sign of rutting activity. Everyone else was seeing young bucks and no shooters. It doesnt really pick up until thanksgiving.

Where you at in Sterling? We saw some does and some crappy bucks. Very Very slow all year so far

off hwy 87 on china valley rd. This was the slowest weekend in 5 years. I had a nine that had a 17inch spread that would go 130 but we usually get em bigger. Probably 4 1/2 year old. It will pick up though. WHere about are you?

A nine I shot in 06 seen a similar buck like this sunday morning. Expectations are a little higher this year. They out there!!!

Here is one that has been frequenting my pen. Id say he is 3 1/2.

Heck I dont even know the highway but about 5 miles out of town toward Mertzon or other wise know is where all the crap burned up last year.

Wes, my leas sucks so far this year. It is nothing like when you were there. Its getting better but not there yet. We are now high fence on one side and almost two! Just call me when you and James are in Bronte and we can play it by ear. They should be coming to the orange bucket soon.

I would have to give you instructions just to get in the place. Along the wheatfield side where the last gate was and the long sendero side, where alot bunch of deer come from. Having to keep a close eye on how bad its going to suck level, they aret done on the sendero side yet.
