here's the deal I'm a hunter. I don't reload and I don't practice on a bench except to make sure my gun is true. I call Hornady and tell them what I'm using the ammunition for and they send it. all these dang abbreviations for crap wears me out. I get texts all the time I can't read because people wont spell it out.
We never use full metal jackets for hunting.......
we were using 120gr SST'

I've hunted very little with 308. It performed well when I did though. To be honest I had never heard of 6.8 until the company that made my AR wanted me to shoot 6.8. I'm die .243 man for many reasons. I do love the 6.8 though, not much for long distance, however the majority of our shots are under 100 yards and probably 75% of those are under 50 yards. The 6.8 has performed very well with Hornady's 120 SST, the 110's do well also.
