I had the pleasure of guiding a good friends wife on her first Whitetail buck hunt last night. Theresa has shot many exceptional exotics with us in years past but finally caught the WT bug. We ventured out looking for a real wide 9pt that has been seen alot lately, but when this guy stepped out she had to have him. She made a great shot with her .308 and the bruiser only made it a short 45 yards before taking a dirt nap. He taped out at 169-⅝. What a heck of a first buck! It really was an outstanding experience for myself, Theresa, and husband Jeff.
