 My AR doesn't like Federal Fusion 62 grain as much as it likes the cheap stuff

Well I picked up some Federal Fusion 62 grain and went to site it in with my AR. I can not get it to group near as well as I can the Silver Bear 62 HP that I shoot just for the heck of shooting. May try to find some other hunting loads to see what it likes best I guess.
For the record I am using a carry handle mounted 4X ACOG at 100 yards off a rest. It does not mater if I use the ACOG or iron sites it will not group as well.

What twist is your barrel and what weight silver bear? I've always had really good luck with SB though, it's decent for what it is.
My absolute best groups come from 75 gr Hornady TAP in my 1:7.

I have some Wolf 55gr JHP that shoot great out of my BCM. Need to find some more and stock up.

I have not checked the barrel but was told it is a 1/7 twist. The SB is 62 grain also. I had to adjust the ACOG about 15 clicks up for the 62 gain Federal. I was surprised I had to move it that much since they are both 62 grain bullets.
I am going to try some different rounds to see how they work.

Are they both 223 or 556? Try the LE Speer GD 556. It's the same good blind barrier/hunting bullet but loaded a bit hotter.
