Anyone here that owns or has owned this model, please share your thoughts on your shooting/hunting opinions, good or bad. I'm considering buying a 2012 model that's been shot approx. 25 times. What's your story? Thanks

Many consider it to be the best bow Mathews has ever made, they have been all down hill from the DXT. I would buy it in a heartbeat.

I have Mathews Switchback XT and the Hoyt Maxxis 31, and they are both great bows, but I would pick the Mathews to hunt with over the Hoyt. Largely because I shoot it much better, I think it fits me better. I'm not a great shot b ut have killed a couple bucks and few does with my Mathews. Many people consider the Switchback XT to be Mathews best bow they ever made.

Buy it. I loved mine and wished I still owned it

Put a price tag on it. Bought in 2012. Shot 25 times and comes loaded with all the accessories. About 20 carbon arrows and a case. Let me know what a fair buying price is for this rig. Thanks

I will never sell my DXT. By far the best bow I've ever owned. I've shot nearly all the Mathews bows. Outstanding hunting bow due to it's short axel length. Loaded with the right stuff I would say $450.00 -$500.00

I have a DXT and so does my hunting partner, we both are SUPER happy with our DXT's. I am hoping to be able to post some pics of a nice exotic taken later this week as we are going to Extreme Bowhunting in Bracketville tomorrow.

If it was a good deal I'd take it in a heart beat, I shot my buddies and wish I had the money for one. They're sweet sweet bows imo

Totaly agree, I have had the opportunity to shoot a lot of the newer Mathews and Hoyt bows and my DXT is by far the quietiest and smoothest of them all. Great bow, most any Mathews dealer will tell you it is the best bow Mathews has ever built

Drenalin, Switchback and DXT were all good bows. They havent been the same since those models were discontinued. But so many are brainwashed into the Mathews hype that it is impossible for them to realize there are better brands out there.

Dad shoots dxt and I still shoot the reezen. Mine is a lot faster, but his is smaller and smoother. One of the smoothest bows I have played with

I have been shooting my DXT since they were first on the market. Its size and weight are perfect for the type of hunting I do. It's the most reliable bow I have ever shot. It's a great buy and a defiant keeper. Good luck out there.
