Sitting in my north stand. Overlooking 1200 yd sendero corned out to 300. Feeder directly south in cutout at 80 yards. Wind is out of south 10-15. Haven't hunted this location yet this year. Sun needs to hurry up.

Got into my south stand this morning. Lots of activity here. Wind out of south/southeast 10mph. Feeders set to go off at 7 & 7:30. Seen a nice buck tending a doe from here last night. Hopefully a nice cull will step out.

Fog is thick this morning

Air so thick you could cut it with a knife. Some fog, I can make out the deer to maybe 150 yards here in Llano county. Small 8 point feeding with 4 doe. Rut still a good ways out. Coffee is great!

Man was the fog thick at daylight. One 1.5 yr old buck came out at 8.20. That's it over here east of you.

New Jeep - I'm east of you off of Hamilton Rd. I've been hunting since opening weekend of bow and haven't seen a deer or hog yet. This is my 10th year on this place and it's never been this bad. I haven't heard as many shots as in years past either. My game cam is broken so I don't know what is hitting me at night. All of my feeders have tons of corn on the ground. I'm only throwing one second twice a day because of this. It's horrible.

Not a lot on camera even at night. They quit even hitting protein. Mother nature is providing everything they need. We got a good freeze coming so it should be better real soon.

I know I have a ton of mesquite beans on the ground. It's hard to find any cactus that has any fruit on them though.

We have a lot of cactus with fruit. I am glad we r doing contolled burn next year.

Ringer, I've got tons of cactus, deer activity is very sparse so far this season. Even the good nocturnal activity I had early-mid Oct. has died down quite a bit, at least as the nicer bucks are concerned. I've also heard just two shots all yesterday and those were at 6:25AM, early. Going slow is an understatement. Hoping for some really cold weather and some rutting activity to get them out.
