100 years ago we used to tape a headlight in a bleach bottle and wire in a cigarette lighter blub. We had old cj jeeps. We would dive up in the corncob discharge area at the mill. Wait a little and hit the light to shoot rats with shotguns. Fun and cheap

For hard mounted lights I went to Wal-Mart and bought their "KC Daylighter" knock offs for $20 a piece. I took the glass lense out and spray painted the inside with Testors transparent red spray paint found here http://www.testors.com/products/573551 , I bought mine from hobby lobby. That was 4 years ago and I am just now contemplating re-painting the lenses. I find red light perfect for hogs. I have never had red light spook em, even at distances less than 50 yards.

Always used one of those 2 million candle power lights from Walmart or the kc's on the jeep
