This was the 3rd year trying to get my mom a deer first year she was not able to go out till late and the 2nd year she had her knee replaced and this year she went out today for her 3rd time this year and got a nice spike, I told her she can shoot what she wanted if legal. A small 6 pointer came out and she looked it over and she told me too small (she knew and that is cool) then this spike came out and she waited for it to come a lot closer it got 85 yards away and she said she wanted this one, I said go for it. This was her 1st deer ever and the 1st time she shot a gun in 2 or so years before that over 50 years. (i made sure the gun was still on) so the run down is 1. have not shot in over 2 years then 50 before that. 2. took 3 years to get the shot. 3. the deer was about 85 yards away 4. and the biggest draw back is she has Parkinson Disease 5. opening weekend was very slow (I would almost say very bad) but I was not at work And she made the shot and got both lungs and a small part of his spine  all we saw was the 2 deer, hunting is still very very slow but mom still got her deer.
