My brothers are working in Sterling City Tx. They sent me pics of two bucks that had their antlers become locked together during their battle. One was sill alive the other seen better days.

Bucks were separated and dead deer was given to Ranch owner to call TPWD on what to do about dead buck.

Well, it's good that one at least still lived.

that would be dangerous to unlock a buck like that.
I'm glad they got him free

That sucks.

Love that area though, best Quail lease I have ever had was just south of Sterling City.

Hate to see that. When I find them they are both dead it seems most of the time.

Here's a cool video of a similar situation, but not in Tx. Can't believe that this buck hung around like that. Wonder if they "salvaged" the dead one. (I sure would have…better me than the coyotes!)

Saw a cool corner double mount from the skulls of two bucks locked up...amazing. Don't think I would try to unlock em...
