Best is end of the year when academy puts theirs out on clearance for .99-$4

Cabelas runs some sales on the layout grass stuff sometimes. Anywhere you buy any waterfowl stuff should have it. Not too many sales going on this time of year.

I usually just grab some stuff from the surroundings, but my layout is usually not the best grassed in.

JM Stern Company, no online orders, all done by mail and you will be hard pressed to find it cheaper with the same service.

This is truf. You can also find it in hobby/craft stores. Most of it all (avery-killer weed etc.) comes from Jsterns anyways, they are a rafia grass wholesaler. I used to live near them in Ohio, they still required a mail order and will only sell at minimum 30lbs. I suggest getting a couple buddies together for a bulk order. 30lbs is ALOT!

It is down to 25-lb of Bulk Raffia or 25 Packages Per Order, you mix and match and it makes it easy and cheap. Call them and get a color card.
