Just wanted to share with you guys a new app that I found for hunters. It is Trimble gps hunters pro. Lots of great features, allows you to mark different spots that you might want to go back to and has blood trailing help so you can mark where you were when you shot, hit, blood trail, and kill. Plus very helpful if you are not familiar with your area.

I like Lunafaqt (for moon and sunrise/sunset times), TrackBack Hunting (to mark spots), and Texas Deer Hunting (for rut forecasts, season dates, hunting regs by county, and hunting related places nearby).

Thanks for the head's up on this one. I got it too but found $125 for maps way out of my range. From what I determined in a short evaluation time is those are topo maps used to link to property owner names?

Have you tried ActinNature Hunting? It works pretty well, and is available for droid and iphone.
