I was going through the pictures from my game camera that I have on my feeder at our lease in Llano county and found about half a dozen pictures of an albino doe. She is solid white with no other markings on her anywhere. Is this rare? I've been hunting for 40 years, and it's the first one I have ever seen. I can't post pictures at work, but I could e-mail them if someone would post them for me.

If it is indeed a whitetail then yes it is rare. But look close at the shape of the head and what may be a pronounced "Adam's apple" in picture two . I'm thinkin fallow for as well

I have seen "piebald" deer, but never an albino, well except on display ( believe the Budweiser museum in Houston has some stuffed.)

Personally, It would let live out it days. Such a rarity, why deny yourself the opportunity to witness a cool freak of the gene pool JMO

We had an 8 point albino WT back in the 80's in the town where I grew up in Michigan. You would see it every day almost. One day a guy shot it. People were so mad that he eventually had to move.

I think that's sorry! If he didn't do anything wrong and hunted his own land, who has the right to say anything? But this has been talked about before. I see rare, while I agree it is cool to see, someone somewhere will end up shooting it.

Saw my first piebald deer in Missouri last week and it was cool looking. Big white spots all over her. Did get video of her in the landowners camera but didn't take any still pics for myself.
