Kyle You can easily do it yourself with Duracoat. They sell a little kit which even includes the sprayer. Follow the instructions and it will come out great.
I've done several and all turned out good. I don't know anything about other products. I even did one of my competition 1911 .45's and after maybe 20,000-25,000 rounds in the last 5 years I can see no wear on the coating. If I had blued the frame, all the blue would have been worn off the forestrap.
If you have any reservations, please contact me and I'll walk you thru it. Phil

Cerakote is a much more durable coating than durakote, on the other hand the duracoat will probably be cheaper.

Ceracoat is better, but more work applying it. Duraciat isn't bad stuff, and its easy to apply.

I personally have switched almost exclusively to KG 2400. They are located out of Austin. Their paint goes on like cerakoat but I think it is a lot more durable. I have had some cerakoat rifles wear at the crown over time but the KG stays harder and they have just about the same amount of colors

Backed on finishes might melt it. Kind of like and over under shot gun

most finishes you have to be at around 350-375 so Not sure BOBO has a point that would be worth looking into

Duracoat now offers an aerosol can with a separate hardener in it, costs under $40. Might want to try that first since you have it ready to be sprayed.
